March Fourth!

March starts out with the only day of the year that gives a command: March Fourth!
On March 4th, let's all March Fourth to do something great being the hands and feet of Christ. Start by praying asking God
what you can do to serve someone else? To bless someone else? Ask God how you can be used as His tool to further His Love and Good News in the world. Don't wait until March 4th to start praying. You need to start praying now. Allow yourself times of silence after your prayers, while driving, walking, in the shower or anytime that you are alone. These times of silence, while you are resting in His presence, restores you, relaxes you, revives you, and revs you up to go work for Him. Ask God to open your mind to the possibilities of action to what God speaks into you. The thoughts, the ideas, the dreams, the people... Ask God to not allow you to brush aside what you hear God telling you to do. Don't dismiss it as something you don't want to do or something you think is inconvenient or impossible. Don't think nothing of these. Instead, think a lot of these. Ask God that you will obey what the Holy Spirit inside of you is telling you to do.
When March 4th arrives, it is time for action. Go! March Fourth to do something Great to show the love you received from Christ Jesus and it will increase the Body of Christ. You may choose to be anonymous so that all of the Glory rest on God's loving shoulders. Praise Be To God!

* Mark 16:15 - He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

* 1 John 3:16-20 - This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

* James 2:14-18 - What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

* 1 Corinthians 12: 20-27 - As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" on the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one parts suffers, every part suffers without it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

With Love,

Sitting In A Warm Window On a Cold Day

2/18/2015

There is nothing I enjoy more on a sunny cold winter day, than sitting in our big picture window, feeling the heat of the sun on my skin and enjoying the sun's rays as they shine down from above. However, this morning, my time in our picture window was a moment of being refreshed, comforted, hugged, loved and filled with peace. I sat there with my eyes closed feeling the heat on my skin and, for a few moments, allowed God to hold me. I needed held by Him. I needed comforted by Him. I needed to feel His love and peace. My tears began to fall as the Lord began to flood me with His presence and reminded me that even though the past few days were filled with such agony (losing my dear friend Dan Fuller and then my Grandma Devine) that His peace passeth all understanding. Philippians 4-7 "7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.". He kept flooding my thoughts and my soul with this verse all day and I was refreshed. Thank you Lord for loving me so much! Thank you for your perfect timing. Thank you for your comfort. Thank you for your peace in moments I don't understand. And Thank you for holding me in my time grief! You are an amazing God and I am so humbled by your presence in my life!!!!
